If you didn't know, I love lipsticks. They're one of my favorite things to wear and I have way too many. I'm to reorganize my collection to possibly sell some things and wanted to see which ones I truly love / use a lot. The more nude shades are relatively newer, but they've already became such staples in my routine.
I also wanted to show off my fannncy new makeup bag I got from Charlotte Tilbury. I love it so much and lip prints are also my favorite!
I don't understand what happened to the above picture. The background was white before I uploaded. The swatches are still fairly accurate though and correspond to the placement of the lipsticks (top to bottom).
Life's Entropy Lip Theory Satin in Milky Way (review here) - I've raved on and on about this lipstick already and so I'm just going to leave the review. It's also discontinued and so I don't really want to go more into it since you can't get it anymore.
Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lip Color in Touch of Spice (review here) - This lip color was my first step into accepting the browny pinky nude colors and also realizing Maybelline lip sticks had a good formula. I had a bad experience with another shade in their Color Sensational line, but was so impressed with the Creamy Mattes lip. Touch of Spice is so comfortable to wear and is the perfect MLBB color on so many skin tones.
Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita - Lolita has been reformulated a few times and I got the February 2015 version of it. It's one of the more popular colors from her liquid lipstick line and is described as a dusty rose. There is a bit more brown in it than I thought, but I do really like. I don't know if this is the final or even original version of this lip color, but it is gorgeous and I'm glad I got it regardless of what version of it is.
Givenchy Le Rouge Lipstick in Brun Créateur - I got this as a 100 point perk from Sephora. It's a pinky nude and it's also described as a "dusty rose" like Lolita. It's definitely more pink than my version of Lolita and it's very work / more formal appropriate. The full sized version of it is super pricey and so I'm glad I got the deluxe sized version as a "free" perk.
Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Gash - As far as I know, this lipstick has been discontinued again. It was exclusive to the Urban Decay website/flagship and to the holiday lipstick set (review here). Gash is a slightly shimmery dark red with some purple tones in it.
Dior Dior Addict Lipstick in Diablotine (review here) - Sephora describes this color as a "sheer muted poppy red" and that is very accurate. I actually bought this because it was incorrectly priced at a lower amount on the website and snatched it up... :D I love the color, but it really works with your own lip color because it is sheer. It adds a pinky red sheen to my lips that brightens up my whole face.
MAC Cosmetics Lipstick in See Sheer & Viva Glam I - I have talked so much about these two colors and also in a pretty recent post. See Sheer is described as a "grapefruit pink" but it can also lean more red on me sometimes. Viva Glam I is a "intense brownish blue-red" and that describe is spot on. Both of these shades are my go - to shades when I don't know what lipstick color to wear.
