Lime Crime Eyeliner in Blue Milk is described as a pale sky blue, but it's brighter than the pastel blue I was expecting. Lime Crime claims that their eyeliners are pigmented with a smudge-free formula. It contains 1.3 mL / 0.04 fl. oz. and retails for $14.
The color was brighter than what I was expected, but oh man. It is such a beautiful blue that makes such a wonderful pop of color. When I wore it at Ulta, I got so many compliments from people of all ages.
Unfortunately, I had to layer it a few times to get this opacity. It took work to get the color even, but once it's on, it stayed on. I did not see any fading or smudging at all and it was super easy to remove with a bit of soap.
The eyeliner has a brush applicator, but it isn't a precision brush like Lime Crime claims. I found myself having to use a cotton bud and oil-free makeup remover to clean up the wing to make it sharper. The bottom eyeliner that I'm comparing the Lime Crime eye liner to is the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner and you can see that the Stila liner is a lot thinner.
In the two above pictures, I didn't touch up the liner (and mascara smudges. I regret not cleaning that up before taking pictures) and that was the thinnest I could do. I like having the option of being able to do a really thin or thick line, and so the brush annoys me but not enough for me to hate it. I also don't mind a thicker line for colored eye liners.
Final thoughts: The formula isn't my favorite and so I can't fully recommend it. On one hand, it stays on all day and the color is so beautiful. I want this color for everything I have. On the other hand, you have to layer it up to get an even color and it's hard to get a very precise line because of the brush. I love the color to a point where I'm willing to get another brush just to get the wings perfectly sharp and so I don't mind the current applicator. For my personal use, I really like it and will repurchase but it has cons that are dealbreakers for people.
